1. Editor's words: Come share my love/Come fly with me

The poetry on our website has been categorised into what
we call peoms, an acronym for pretty emotional or mental
states. This is the first in our special series on peoms.
To find out more about peoms click here

"Come share my love/Come fly with me" usually indicates
an early stage of falling in love. It's ironic that one "falls"
in love and then shortly after wishes to "fly" with the
subject of their love. However, "flying" conjures images of
gliding in the sky; soaring above the clouds; being free as
an eagle; where the world is yours to behold and enjoy in
its entirety.

Experiencing this emotional state shows that you are
willing to open up to another's affections and often means
you are prepared to make yourself vulnerable. It's an
invitation extended to that special someone for them to
get closer to your inner self.

When you are submerged in this emotional state you are
able to freely give and receive love. The kind of love
which brings about Lasting, Optimistic, Visions of Eternity.

We'd love to hear your thoughts on this. You can go
straight here and share your thoughts on peoms.
This will be totally anonymous so you don't have to tell
us who you are!

2. Featured Poems

Here's our selection of poems for this week:

I'll blow on every horn

I'll blow on every horn
Until it's heard by everyone
You alone are second to none,
With every beat of my heart
There's renewal of this fact
Loving you is never abstract,
It's as real as the air
But one thing I fear
Is not having love to share!
(Be with me)
(Come share my love)

With the essence

With the essence
And the effervescence
From your radiant love
I have come to know
Where I want to go….
Any place we are together
(Come fly with me)
