1. Editor's words: Missing you
The poetry on our website has been categorised into what
we call peoms, an acronym for pretty emotional or mental
states. As most of our subscribers (digest-ers) will be
aware we've been running a special series on peoms.
This is the third in our series on peoms and we do
appreciate all the insightful feedback you've been sending
to us. To find out more about peoms click here
"Missing you": At some point we all must have missed
someone's presence. It may have been the sweet sound
of their voice; the radiant rays from their hair; or the
tender touch of their caress. Whatever sparks this
emotional state, the fundamental factor is the absence of
a loved one.
Now, we can think of a couple of clichés around this
emotional state: absence makes the heart grow fonder;
you don't appreciate what you've got until it's gone.
What is it that provokes such sayings and above that,
such a strong emotional state? We know that love
certainly has got something to do with it.
We'd love to hear your thoughts on this. You can go
straight here and share your thoughts on peoms.
This will be totally anonymous so you don't have to tell
us who you are!
2. Featured Poems
Here's our selection of poems for this week:
The wheels are turning
The wheels are turning
And the fire is burning
The signals are there
Of a love so rare.
Good love is what you give
Good love is what you give
Without the need to receive
The more I get to know you
I realise this fact anew.
Happiness is being around you
And joy is to be your own
There is no denying this
I am happy and full of joy.
3. Did you know?
How to say these 3words, I Love You, in Spanish…
