1. Editor's words: The price of love
What would you say is the price of love for you? Can we,
or should we, really put a price on love? In some ways
when we place a price on something it tends to lose its
value or at best limit its value.
Love is an ever-flowing emotion and should know no
bounds. Just like the sky, to us, is a height we can only
imagine… so also love should be perceived as an emotion
with a limitless capacity.
As such it becomes difficult to attempt to place a price on
something so fluid. The value we place on love tends to
increase the deeper in love we become. Next time you find
yourself trying to put a price on love, consider instead how
much value it has the more you 'invest' in it… the returns
are often amazing.
We'd love to hear your thoughts on this. You can go
straight here and tell us the price of love for you. This will
be totally anonymous so you don't have to tell us who
you are!
2. Featured Poems
Here's our selection of poems for this week:
Memories are like a flickering candle
Memories are like a flickering candle
One minute they are bright and clear
And the next they become dim and dull,
I'm searching for a way to handle
The flashbacks of the good times we shared
Hoping they'll be a reality again, not a lull.
Comfort is being in your arms
Comfort is being in your arms
Occupied is the sign on my heart
Magnetic is the reaction you inspire
Fresh is the scent from your hair
Overflowing is my cup of happiness
Radiant is the smile you possess
Total is the commitment we share
