For you I'd count the ways I love you
But no such number exists
For you I'd move the highest mountain to prove
That for you, my love, I'd take all the risks
For you I would turn night into day
To show you the light you bring to my heart
For you I'd gather the ocean spray
So you could taste the salt when we are apart
For you I'd cross the desert dry
And thirst for you over water cold
For you I'd pull down the night sky
To pick down a star for you to hold
For you I'd stop Father Time
To show you how timeless you are
For you I'd give up every dime
For you are priceless by far
For you there is nothing I wouldn't do
That's why I wrote this verse
To show you how much I adore you
I love you more than the universe.
