In the cold nights of winter I shivered
Only to find your presence
Warming me,
In the warm days of summer I closed my eyes
To feel your breath
Drying my sweat,
In the spring
I saw your face in the budding roses
I smelled your fragrance in the flowers
And sensed your touch in the delicate petals.
My life has become wretched without you
Like the defoliated trees of autumn
Abandoned by its inhabitants,
Depicting misery and pain
It awaits the arrival of the leaves
To fill its bare branches
And let the birds nest in their warmth
It awaits the season of its love
