"How fast can one heart love?", by Marina (Second)
How fast can one heart love upon the first encounter,
Open its petals to adventure,
Fresh and simple spring of love,
Young light-footed dancing season of love?
How soon is love given away
like a secret never kept itself,
Like a bird flying too early to the South,
How quick is love true to its mission?
I think, but thought is tart,
Whereas my heart is ripe despite its youth.
How long will this whim breathe for?
How far is love to travel?
I know not, nor dare I shorten its desire.
Let love ascend in all its might,
Beyond the cage of fear.
I love you now.
Tomorrow, love will tell. |
