"An Empty Birdcage", by Shabu
Seeing the rainbow through the murky mist
Blurring the windowpane,
I can feel you,
Though you are away,
just behind me
Like on that awful day,
moments before leaving me forever,
you, like a sculpture,
Putting your quivering hands on my shoulder,
Gazing into my eyes, pleading to me
Not to let her die.
A pond of glittering tears that I saw in your praying eyes,
drizzled in my heart.
And bidding adieu in a tone of nippy silence,
You walked slowly away from me
To the colossal darkness of death.
But still drizzling in my heart, your tears.
My love, touch my heart as a zephyr.
Kiss my lips as a dewdrop.
A storming chilly gale outside the window
Tempting your pretty birdcage to swing.
As the bird is somewhere,
it's empty now
Like my life without you.

How can the sky be in your eyes?
And how do you put so much sense inside?
I love it when you look at me
Because of you there's so much truth I see
Your eyes can't be compared to any other
I am so glad you always bother
Just by a little look received from your face
You take me to a higher place
I see the never-ending ocean in your eyes
To me this blue seems so nice
That you make me grow in so many ways
And you help me in these awful days
As if the world is in your eyes
Every time I look in them I realize
And there I see the Sun and some Desire
Because your look can burn in me like fire
I saw the great and only colour blue
And since I found it there in You
There're only 2 blue eyes in this world for me
And they are yours... so lovely... I cannot disagree

When you look at me
What do you see?
A beautiful woman who you have so much love for in your heart?
Do you love me more than you did at the start?
When I look at you I see
The man I am proud to have with me
Looking into your brown eyes I feel
A heartfelt connection amazingly real
When I hold your hand, when we kiss
Comes true many a wish
With you in my life every day
I want us to stay
When I feel your body next to mine
My heart pumps and shines
It radiates pure love from deep within
I want to hold nothing in
When making love, when kissing your body
My thoughts can go from romantic to naughty
You bring out of me a happiness so great
I like to owe so much to fate
But I know how I feel when we're in each other's arms
I know no harm
Cuz you're strong and would let nothing happen to me
That way I want to feel forever, for us to be
