"When I Caught The Wind", by John (Third)
Before I caught the wind I had never questioned my peace I was sheltered within, closed and compact Strong and complete, I was in myself, one. Then I felt the wind.
It was on a living night When under shining rain cleaned skies, All slept still and silent Creation was softly bathed in moon's gentle light And the world slept, deeply loved and fully trusting.
Then the wind touched my soul. A faint stirring rose within me With love soft touches and kisses tender, An agile breeze awakened On its wings potent messages rode Delivered in whispers, but with promise fully laden.
I reached out for more and caught the wind. On that one magic night, When my world was divine, I rode with the wind. Unbound, I gave myself up, But in surrender, I was reborn.
That night, I was one with the wind. A mere mortal with the divine inspired, I saw an angel where before there had only been misty dreams Fantasy was to reality introduced, And with searing heat, into eternal memory burned.
The wing was mine, And in the wind I rode, reborn, Because I had just met you.
