A few basic themes.....
As mentioned at our main poetry page, each poetry category
reflects what we call peoms. This is an acronym for a Pretty
Emotional Or Mental State (pronounced as in people).
Another theme which underpins much of the content on this
site is what we refer to as emotional condensation. Going by
the dictionary definition of both words...
Emotional: Of, pertaining to, or expressive of emotion.
Condensation: To change state, e.g., from a gas to a liquid,
or from a liquid to a solid.
We define emotional condensation as a "change of emotional
state". For example, consciously or unconsciously changing
your feelings about someone from liking to loving, or from
loving to adoring etc.
